I turn from tainted love; From those I once knew well, those who gave by taking, who took too much of what time was given to others. That truth is so strong that it must be used against me to further justify their lies. How well I have been played. How well I have played these parts without ever knowing my role.

And what of us now? What of our history? What of all the days that we lived together? What of the love that we shared? What is left behind for me to live for? Who is left alive for me to love? Do they even see the emptiness in me? Do they ever search the spaces where I used to be?

I am become all things passed; A moment in the memory of your waking dream-state. And of all the miracles that we have made, of all the wonders that you have done and all of those that you are yet to witness, all of my grace and dignity in allowing your betrayal will be the greatest one. I may someday forgive you. But these damages I cannot ever forget. In your precious time, you too will fall from grace, heavy from the sins that bind you.
