– Reflecting Gods –
You hide behind me in the mirror,
reflecting the vision of your Gods upon me,
reflecting your sense of a false self image.
You are far too small for me to fit inside,
though you think if you can control the size of me
it will make you seem greater than you are.
Your human shape is made
of shades of monochrome and grey,
while I am prismatic from within;
Layers upon layers of colour,
an aberration of that human nature
which could never match
your image of perfection.
