I seek to tell my truth;
To everyone,
everywhere,
all at once.
I place myself in that position
of social insecurity,
that I can never truly lie
in the safety of crowds,
nor tell my truth fully
in the confines of closer spaces.
My secret changes;
One part of me personified,
onward into the next illusion.
Instead of retracing those steps,
I will walk forward side by side
with those who show their care,
to bear the weight of me
when I am most heavy.
