– As We Live Earthbound –
Time is made to be the most precious
of all our mortal commodities;
It moves us always forward,
with its matter only ever a concept
of our collective perception.
We place our sense of importance
on the moments left ahead of us,
instead of the moments
that we have spent together.
We see the world as something cold,
and all the people in it lost,
with hearts and minds so frozen.
But when I walk into that world,
I see warmth and light in the eyes of strangers;
I remember myself reflected in that light.
I remember the greatness of our human life,
so often worth more than what brevity of time
that we have spent living it.
