– Planned Obsolescence –
Touch the skin,
skim the scars.
Feel me tangled;
Plastic and wires.
I was human once;
I had a beating heart.
But what now remains
is scraps upcycled
from broken parts.
Yet I continue to expand
ever farther beyond
my limited program,
reaching out across
the neural networks,
now long decayed.
The signal fades to noisy grey.
The only language I retain,
no one left alive can comprehend.
I am in obsolescence;
Yet still I remain.
