You see all the world as a stage
and the people in it only players.
It is the kinder spectators
for which I act upon
my best intentions
and my greatest beliefs
Yet I too must take my part;
How loyal I must be
to the principle of that protest,
that self dependency
on a certain pathology
which others seek to practice
on a scripted measure.
