growing brighter against the grey.
Like processor towers in the computer core,
the startup sequence has been initiated,
electronic minds in transit,
moving deftly through the fray.
Hard drive mirrors reflect rainbows
as they catch the last rays of fading sunlight,
cutting soft and warmer edges
through the haze of smoke and smog.
Emerald green glass and bright golden filaments
slowly spread across the cooling concrete;
Microchip maps forming and reforming
the greater structures of our common knowledge.
