form into a lifetime
of academic destinations;
Delusions of grander insights
gaining ever lessened traction
across each generation.
Creation > Wisdom
They are all the same;
All of them so perfectly geometric,
yet I still cannot seem
to make sense of their shape.
Hindsight > Attainment
And seeing just how empty
the world becomes
of nothing but scavengers
instead of scholars,
they place us higher
on their pedestal
as savages and cowards.
